“Soul Town” is an homage to the Soul Jazz of the Sixties with a group of musicians that aren’t jazz purist, but they like to play and mix different genres of music. With this record, they start from Soul Jazz and go for an original sound without any limit of genre. The album includes seven original tunes plus a cover of “Work Song”, a soul jazz classic written by trumpet player Nat Adderley.
