"The story began a good year and a half ago, when Andrea Szulák played with two illustrious figures of the Hungarian jazz scene, Elemér Balázs Balázs and Ifj. Bélé Szakcsi Lakatos.

The idea of putting Hungarian evergreens in a jazz guise evolved into a six-piece orchestra called the Andrea Szulák Quintet.

The album Szeretni bolondulásig album is a vivid embodiment of the genius of six excellent, well-coordinated musicians, their magical interplay, on which melodies dear to the Hungarian heart and ear are played in a jazz sound.

Adorned with immaculate dynamics, Szulák's softly caressing voice strings one melody after another on the brightly shimmering, imaginary chain. Pianos float like feathery plumes, fluttering into free flight. The fragility fuelled by inner strength is astonishing."
