In recent years, bassist Tijs Klaassen could be found in the ensembles of Ben van Gelder, Oene van Geel, Theo Loevendie, Mete Erker and Alistair Payne, among others. In his own band, he can unleash all his ideas and creativity. The quintet consists of a close-knit group of friends who have been playing together for almost a decade despite their young age. They feel at home on the borderlands where jazz, classical music, electronics and free improvisation come together.
In the past, the band has already won the Keep an Eye the Records award and the Sena Performance award at the Dutch Jazz Competition. After the well-received albums Clavius and Nostalgia, their 3rd album Adhocism will be released this spring by Dutch ZenneZ Records and Canadian Elastic Records.
