"Our flame won't get any smaller" - the core concept of "RIOT" speaks volumes. On their fourth album, BLACKOUT PROBLEMS embed an explosive rock sound in a rain cloud of dark synthesisers. With wild, unusual song structures and free of expectations, the Munich-based band sound dark as usual, but danceable - sad and euphoric at the same time. At the centre of "RIOT" is once again the writing down of personal experiences. Inspired by political events such as the shift to the right, hate speech by the AFD, the resulting hatred on the internet and the courage of people like Sophie Scholl and Luisa Neubauer, 11 songs have been created that, together with the thought-provoking lyrics, rain down on the harsh world of reality. Let's start a beautiful RIOT!
