Info for Musikalische Perlen
The ensemble 'Les Connivences Sonores' was born in 2014 from the meeting of two instrumentalists, Odile Renault (flute) and Élodie Reibaud harp. Their two passions give rise to the project of discovering and rediscovering a rich and beautiful original chamber music repertoire, in which the duet flute and harp occupy the central place. Odile and Élodie have in fact been exploring its amazing richness for years. The great Romantic repertoire allows them to devote themselves to the sensual and virtuoso dimension of their respective instruments. The 20th century, on the other hand, with the diversity of its musical languages, continues to amaze them.
Les Connivences Sonores:

Elodie Reibaud, harp
The ensemble Les Connivences Sonores
was formed in 2014 from the meeting of two inquisitive musicians.
The flutist Odile Renault gained her first orchestral experience very early on with the Caen Chamber Orchestra. She then continued her training in the United States with the legendary Marcel Moyse. When she returned to France, she was appointed principal flutist of the Ensemble Instrumental de Normandie. She currently performs primarily as a chamber musician, with a wide repertoire that ranges from the 18th century to the present day.
The harpist Élodie Reibaud studied at the Geneva Conservatory and at the Academy of the Lucerne Festival under the direction of Pierre Boulez. She has played with various orchestras such as the Strasbourg Philharmonic, the Berlin Symphony, the Basel Symphony Orchestra... but chamber music remains by far her preference.
Their shared passions led to a project to discover and rediscover a rich and beautiful original chamber music repertoire in which the flute and harp duet occupies a central place. Odile and Élodie have been exploring its astonishing richness for years. The great romantic repertoire allows them to devote themselves to the sensual and virtuoso dimension of their respective instruments. The 20th century, on the other hand, with the variety of its musical languages, never ceases to amaze them.
Her curiosity also leads her to play with larger ensembles such as the trio for flute, viola and harp, created by Debussy; such as the very rare trio for flute, cello and harp or the remarkable quintet for flute, harp and string trio, a line-up made famous by Jean Cras, Albert Roussel or André Jolivet.
Depending on the work and the project, they also expand the line-up to include voices, percussion instruments, etc.
Premieres and work with composers are also another focus of the artistic work of the Connivences Sonores. This area is particularly important because it contributes to the expansion of an original repertoire. It also corresponds to their favorite view of any type of repertoire: the search for an interpretation that is closest to the essence of the work.
Odile Renault plays a Parmenon Auréis 14K Gold flute.
Élodie Reibaud plays a Lyon & Healy Style 23 Gold harp.
