After graduating as top of the class from Toho Gakuen College Music Department, she continued her study under Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi at Toho Gakuen Graduate School. She was a recipient of the IMA Award at Ishikawa Music Academy and participated in Aspen Music Festival as a scholarship student. She also participated in Miyazaki Music Festival, Kamakura Performing Arts Center Solisten and Project Q. In August 2006, her debut album, titled “Song of the Birds”, was released under EMI Music Japan, and she also had her Kioi Debut in December that year.
