ROLE MODEL is one of the most exciting voices in modern indie pop. With honest songwriting, catchy melodies and a blend of pop, folk and alternative, the American singer-songwriter Tucker Pillsbury has built up a loyal fanbase over the past few years. ROLE MODEL are releasing their third studio album, *Chuck Timely & The Hourglass*. The album explores the fear of time running out, past mistakes, unfulfilled hopes and the longing for a future that may never seem within reach. At its heart is Chuck Timely – not a classic alter ego, but a character in his own right who embodies the album’s themes. Charming, elusive and timeless, Chuck moves between nostalgia and the present, as someone who leaves an impression everywhere he goes, seems familiar and yet remains out of reach. Visually, the character moves between classic vintage aesthetics, nostalgic iconography and deliberately chaotic lo-fi and grunge elements. It is precisely this tension between transience, longing and love that shapes the entire album, which musically revolves around the pressure of time, coming to terms with the past and remorse. ROLE MODEL, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, represents a new form of modern male pop music: emotionally open, self-deprecating and charmingly light-footed. Following sold-out tours, an SNL debut, a place on Forbes’ ‘30 Under 30’ list and a role in a recent Netflix film, ROLE MODEL demonstrates on ‘Chuck Timely & The Hourglass’ that he has reached the pinnacle of his creative development to date.

first made waves with his 2022 debut album Rx, a confessional and genre-blurring pop record that introduced him as a bold new voice in alternative music. With his sophomore album Kansas Anymore, Role Model showcases his evolution as a songwriter and performer with 13 folk-tinged, lyrically driven tracks. Working alongside Noah Conrad, Ian Fitchuk, Scott Harris, and Jonah Shy, he crafted standout pieces including the viral hit “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out,” which he performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” He also took the stage at “Saturday Night Live” and performed his hit track with surprise guest, Charli XCX, followed by a performance of “Some Protector.” Following the success of his No Place Like Tour, which sold over 90,000 tickets worldwide, he released a deluxe edition, Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye), featuring four new songs that expand the emotional and sonic scope of the original album. In addition to his musical accomplishments, Pillsbury is stepping into the world of acting with his debut role in Good Sex, the upcoming Netflix film from Lena Dunham, starring opposite Natalie Portman and Mark Ruffalo.
