Info for Piedras y Rosas EP

Josete Ordoñez awakens the dreamer in us. His music is bringing fantasies to life, painting imaginary pictures, and creating moods that we otherwise only know from a perfect summer day at the sea. This vibe came to life on Josete's album 'Por el Mar', reviewed as a superb release by one of Spain's leading acoustic guitarist. With his sense for fine, soft melodies and placating harmonies, 'Por el Mar' has reached people from various scenes, ranging from Acoustic, Latin and NuJazz to Lounge, Pop & Chillout music too.

It was a logic step to get the album interpreted by some of the leading producers of modern Electronic Downtempo & Lounge Music. As a first appetizer Ozella Music delivers a 5 track EP called 'Piedras y Rosas' including Remixes by Nacho Sotomayor, Blank & Jones and Stardelay. Madrid based producer and founder of famous 'La Roca' compilation Nacho Sotomayor sticks with the original vibe of 'Hanoi' and added some atmospheric sounds and a great Downtempo groove. Pure summer bliss is Blank & Jones's 'Balearic Relax Remix', prognosticated to be the Chillout Summer Hit 2012. With its laid-back charm solely dominated by Josete's guitar work, the Remix underlines the high reputation Blank & Jones have, to be a top act of the international Lounge & Chillout scene. Spiced with some fine percussive Latin Grooves Stardelay is taking the 'Cielo Protector' down to Earth. Perfectly blending with the emotive Spanish vocals of the original, Balearic lushness is shining through every note.

Rounded up with 2 album versions Josete Ordoñez's 'Piedras y Rosas EP' is the perfect soundtrack to slow down. It tells of paper boats on the lake, the blue of the ocean, the timelessness of feelings, and the sound of the wind. By opening new dimensions of Mediterranean serenity, it is a must have for every summer 2012 music collection.
