Info for The Seed of Love: Jazz Guitar Brazilian Style
The GBMusicSmoothNotes presents the result of the first collaboration made with the talented Brazilian guitarist Robertinho De Paula, an expert on Brazilian jazz (or Bossa-jazz), usually an amalgamation of traditional Brazilian music and jazz, offering the best of these two different artistic expressions.
Capable of synthesizing the pure virtuosity with the intense emotions of these two genres, De Paula in his latest album creates 15 major reinterpretations of jazz immortal songs like 'Round Midnight' and 'Satin Doll' and then supplement with worldwide hits of Police and Tears for Fears such as 'Message in a Bottle,' 'Every Little Thing She Does is Magic' and 'Pale Shelter' showing his more rock, until you get to the more classic pieces Bossanova of Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque and Milton Nascimiento.
The vast panorama of American music includes current and undercurrents influenced by the traditions and history of the people who produce that music. When the Brazilian tradition and jazz come together there is a phenomenon of contamination that offers the best of these two artistic expressions. This development, known as the Brazilian jazz (or Bossajazz) identifies guitarist Robertinho De Paula one of the greatest artists in the world, capable of synthesizing pure virtuosity with the intense emotions of these two genres.
