Info for Radio (Remastered 2023)

The album is convincing above all because of its unobtrusive depth. One can listen excellently and is amply rewarded for paying attention. But you can also listen to 'Radio' very well on the side and devote yourself to the other important things in life. Just as good radio should be!

The fact that they see themselves as a jazz station is more than clear from their name. Jazzmachine's broadcasting frequency is actually recommendable for everyone whose musical receptivity does not end at a triad. Jazz has become socially acceptable. In this process, many bands have lost their jazz. Malicious tongues even claim that this is the nu-jazz area. Not so with the workers of the jazz machine. "Radio" has a broad impact and yet jazz is still jazz.

It was in 2002 that Stefan Zaradic founded the band Project "Jazzmachine". The term "Jazz" in the name of the band stands for freedom, its original meaning, while "Machine" stands for the groove. In 2003 the first album "Radio" was released and promptly gained international audiophile highlight status from the magazine STEREO
