Leon Røsten is a Norwegian jazz pianist, guitarist, songwriter, and composer currently living and working in Oslo. His work revolves around composing, recording, and performing with his own ensembles. This music reflects his lifelong experience collaborating with a diverse range of musicians, bands, and genres, both in Norway and internationally.
The trio, consisting of Alf Høines (double bass), Øystein Aarnes Vik (drums) and Leon Røsten (piano), creates music that moves seamlessly between floating chord progressions, intricate rhythmic patterns, and lyrical melodic lines.
