A musical experiment of raw freedom: Cagoules et Décalcomanies explores music as liberation through writing, breath, voice, friction and percussion. Their sound is acoustic and unadorned, carrying the energy of rebellion and the playfulness of childhood.
Formed out of long-standing friendships and a shared vision of sound, the group plays as one. Like a temporary tattoo, their music leaves a trace that fades yet never disappears.
The voices of flutist Fanny Ménégoz and saxophonist Nicolas Stephan intertwine with their instruments, while Théo Girard’s double bass and Rafaël Koerner’s drums create a continuous pulse. Together they build an ensemble sound that is both fragile and powerful, intimate and uncompromising.
