Info for Peace - Chamber Music by Revich, Satie, Schubert

Peace in tones: With his concept album PEACE, renowned Austrian violinist and composer Yury Revich (*1991) invites listeners on a journey through the world to explore inner and universal peace through the voices of composers from different backgrounds and cultures. The consistently melodious programme also includes compositions by Yury Revich himself: his Impressions – short, connecting pieces of music created especially for this project – as well as two original poems, act as conceptual bridges within the chapters of the album and shape PEACE into a coherent musical narrative.

Sensitively interpreted by Yury Revich together with accordionist Basha Slavinska and pianists David Chen and Volodymyr Borodin, the album acquires a special artistic depth and coherence.

Born in Moscow in 1991, Austrian violinist and composer Yury Revich is one of the most fascinating artists of his generation. His career has already taken him to renowned concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, La Scala in Milan and the Berlin Philharmonie. These experiences have shaped his artistic personality.

Winner of awards such as the ECHO Klassik and the International Classical Music Award, Revich inspires audiences with his virtuosity, musical depth and flair for interdisciplinary forms of expression. His recordings, including a recording of Saint-Georges' concertos, have reached the US Billboard charts. Revich is also active as a composer and works across genres: from symphonic works and chamber music to film projects and performative formats.
