Info for Double Image (Remastered)

In 1977 David Friedman, Dave Samuels, Harvie Swartz and Mike DiPasqua forged what is now considered a classic concept. Using vibraphone and marimba as the focal point, Double Image created music that made many New York nightclub audiences aware of what ' you could hear a pin drop' means.

Highly rhythmic and uniquely arranged, with the dynamics of a symphony orchestra, this session is the best documentation of the groups unique style.

David Friedman, vibraphone, marimba, triangle, percussion
David Samuels, vibraphone, marimba, tabla, percussion
Harvie Swartz, bass
Michael DiPasqua, drums, percussion

Recorded on 6 September 1977 at Tonstudio Bauer, Ludwigsburg, Germany
