Elliot Lamb and their octet are releasing Lamb’s sophomore album, In My Own Little World. The album is a sibling album to the band’s debut work, Between Worlds, released in 2024, and is a selection of eight tunes capturing moments of gender euphoria and trans joy in Lamb’s life since embracing their nonbinary identity.

 Elliot Lamb 
is a trombonist, vocalist, composer, arranger and music educator based in Naarm/Melbourne. They play a range of styles, from pop and soul, to big band and contemporary improvised music. In 2021, Elliot was the Melbourne International Jazz Festival’s Take Note Leader, a role which included the commissioning of a new work for the festival, an hour-long suite entitled Between Worlds, as well as running improvisation workshops in schools and universities around Melbourne. Elliot is one of the leaders of the Jazzlab Orchestra, a big band playing original works by its members each month, and regularly performs with numerous other projects around Melbourne and Australia. They also perform with the RocKwiz Orchestra at some events, including RocKwiz’s Really Really Good Fridays, and have been part of the ABC’s NYE live performances in 2019 and 2020.
