Info for Samba e Amor: Acoustic Pop Classics, Brazilian Style
The BLACK COFFEE project is characterized by a selection of jazz standards, brazilian music, pop-soul and typical music from the italian and, in particular, sicilian popular tradition...all these musical journeys are strictly connected one to the other and are mainly characterized by a very personal acoustic arrangement.
The main idea of the album is to merge two different musical languages in just one, original and addictive, sound. It seems like a passionate conversation between different worlds, going through experimentation and giving birth to new points of view.
“SAMBA e AMOR” is the result of two different musical journeys mixed together.
The album contains 10 tracks representing Black Coffee's unique style going through blues, swing, bossa nova and brazilian popular music.
Patrizia Capizzi, vocals, guitar, cavaquinho, percussions
Massimiliano Amico, double bass
