Info for Kaleidoscope

Ukrainian miniatures: Roman and Oleksandr Fediurko often played four-handed as children. Today, the two Kyiv-born pianists cause storms of applause, especially when they are united at a grand piano. At the time of the release of their debut album, both were just 18 and 13 (!) years old. After the outbreak of the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine, Oleksandr Fediurko followed his older brother Roman to Graz, where they both studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in the class of Prof. Dr Milana Chernyavska. The list of first prizes in Ukrainian and international competitions is impressive for both brothers, as is their record of countless international festival and concert appearances.

After Roman's spectacular victory with a gold medal, audience prize and 5 special prizes in spring 2023 at the international competition in memory of Vladimir Horowitz in Geneva, the expectations for a debut album from the audience were enormous.

If the two pianists have called their result "Kaleidoscope", then this is an invitation to immerse yourself in a rich palette of musical possibilities and artistic experiences. This is what happens when two young musicians open themselves up to everything that life offers them at the time. You can always specialise later.
