Dayseeker definieren die Genre Grenzen des Post-Hardcores neu mit ihrem vierten Studioalbum „Sleeptalk“. "Sleeptalk’ als Single und Album ist unser bisher stolzestes Werk“, sagt Sänger Rory Rodriguez. „Wir haben uns in unserer Musik noch nie so sicher gefühlt wie in diesem Moment.“
Nach mehreren Jahren langer Tourneen durch Nordamerika und Europa, ließ sich die südkalifornische Band Dayseeker zu Hause nieder und etablierte ihren neuen Sound auf bekanntem Terrain. Die Band betrat das Studio mit dem angehenden Produzenten und engen Freund Daniel Braunstein. Die Musiker entwickelten einen einzigartigen Los Angeles-Sound, der schon in der Kernidentität der Band verankert war. That shift continued with 2022's Dark Sun, a devastatingly personal album shaped by the death of Rodriguez's father. Dayseeker graced the cover of Outburn and drew enthusiastic praise from Alternative Press and alt-rock radio. The profound resonance of the band’s music with fellow outsiders worldwide is evident in their 600 million+ streams. And it's palpable at every show, from sold-out headlining runs in theaters to tours with Pierce The Veil, Bad Omens, and Ice Nine Kills.
