„She’s the Poem“ ist eine Serie von zehn poetischen Porträts, die von Menschen, denen man auf der Straße begegnen könnte, bis hin zu Ikonen wie Frida Kahlo reichen. Es ist eine Ode an die Echtheit: das Schöne und das Hässliche, das Rohe und Ungeschliffene. Mit diesem Album zeigt Sara Bax, dass sie Komponistin und Musikerin ist, sich aber vor allem durch die Musik als Künstlerin fühlt. Sie möchte dich ins Zentrum des Seins entführen, dich die Funken der Magie spüren lassen, die dort fließen. Wenn du deinen Kopf unter Wasser hältst, kommen deine Gedanken zur Ruhe. Genauso wie wenn du dieser Band zuhörst. Bax nutzt die Kraft jedes einzelnen Bandmitglieds, sodass die Gruppe zusammen wie ein einziges starkes Instrument klingt, das die Luft mit einer reichen Farbpalette erfüllt.

Sara Bax
is a genuine vocalist and composer whose heartfelt music is described as “color creative”. Through her narrative music style, she strives to reflect and search for the connection with yourself, others, and the world. In her words: “making music connects me to the magic in this world, and it’s a way to make people sparkle.”

Her intimate and natural way of singing makes the listener feel as though they are part of the experience. “My purpose is to create a sincere environment for you to (re)connect, to feel the magic and love of this world so together we can lift each other up.”

Sara played at North Sea Jazz as a trumpet player of the ArtEZ Big Collective and recently founded a band with well-known musicians Jeroen van Vliet (Boy Edgar Prize), Angelo Verploegen, Annie Tangberg (Metropole Orkest), and Maximilian Hering.
