Das neue Album von Willie Nelson (sein 77. Solo-Studioalbum und sein 154. Album insgesamt) ist ein Album, das sich auf die Songs von Rodney Crowell konzentriert, das jüngste in Nelsons langer Geschichte, in der er ganze Alben auf die Arbeit eines einzelnen Songwriters konzentriert.

Willie Nelson und Rodney Crowell sind zwei texanische Singer-Songwriter, deren Karrieren sich häufig überschneiden, seit Crowell die ersten Songs von Nelson im Radio hörte und seine Shows in Houston Mitte der 1960er Jahre sah. With a six-decade career and a catalog of more than 200 albums to his credit, the iconic Texas singer-songwriter Willie Nelsonhas earned a permanent position in pop music’s pantheon with songs combining the sophistication of Tin Pan Alley with the rough-and-tumble grit and emotional honesty of country music.
