Biography Julia Huber & Miriam Altmann
Julia Huber-Warzecha
received her first instructions on the violin by her mother. After studying with Walter Forchert she got her first employment as a violinist at the Orchestre Philharmonique de Luxembourg while at the same time persevering her interest in Early Music through studying the baroque violin with Mary Utiger. In 1997 she became awardee of the International Locatelli Competition Amsterdam.
In 2000 she decided to devote herself entirely to become a freelance baroque violinist and ever since - besides a widely varied activity as chamber musician – she has been working with L'Orfeo Barockorchester, Neue Düsseldorfer Hofmusik and La Stagione Frankfurt as concertmistress and principal violinist.
