"Biscuit and Buddy” is Rouse’s tribute to the departed singer/songwriter behind the drum kit who worked his way from the 1960’s R&B circuit to launching the Electric Flag and Band of Gypsies while carving a path with his own band and as a solo artist until his passing. In addition, Rouse contributes many self penned originals he arranged as well, reflecting the genre-busting spirit of Buddy Miles. "Biscuit and Buddy" honours a legendary drummer and bandleader.
