Andrew Gutauskas
is a Grammy Award winning Baritone Saxophonist, Composer, Arranger and Educator. He received his Bachelor of Music from William Paterson University and then attended the Juilliard School's Artist Diploma program where he studied with baritone saxophone legend, Joe Temperley.
As an in-demand multi-instrumentalist, Andrew has recorded and performed on Broadway, television, movies and live around the world with a variety of artists ranging from rock to pop to jazz to Bollywood. In 2017, he composed and arranged music for the award winning short film, Baby Won't You Please Come Home, starring Michelle Hurst(Orange is the New Black) and Melanie Nicholls-King(The Wire), written and directed by Christopher Piazza.
He is music director of the rock sensation, Brass Against and is a member of several exciting projects in New York City including; Lucas Pino’s No-Net Nonet, Miho Hazama’s M_Unit, the Dan Pugach Nonet, the Uptown Jazz Tentet, the New Alchemy Jazz Orchestra, Charlie Rosen’s Broadway Big Band & 8-Bit Big Band, the Robert Edwards Big Band, the Steven Feifke Big Band, Kyle Saulnier’s Awakening Orchestra, the Terraza Big Band, Tim & the Space Cadets, the Skivvies, Hannah Gill & the Hours, Funktion 11 as well as many others.
