Oleg Shebeta-Dragan, der hier sein Debütalbum vorstellt, erlangte im Frühjahr 2022 internationale Aufmerksamkeit als Gewinner des Internationalen Carl-Nielsen-Wettbewerbs in der Kategorie Klarinette in Odense, wo er auch den Sonderpreis des Odense Symphony Orchestra und den Nachwuchspreis der Jury erhielt. Für seine Debütaufnahme hat sich Oleg Shebeta-Dragan erneut mit dem Odense Symphony Orchestra zusammengetan, um Werke von Ferruccio Busoni, Darius Milhaud und Jean Françaix sowie Carl Nielsens dynamisches, intensives, unvorhersehbares und emotionsgeladenes Klarinettenkonzert aufzunehmen.

Oleg Shebeta-Dragan
studied at the National Music Academy of Ukraine with Roman Vovk, at the Musikhochschule Lübeck with Reiner Wehle and now studies at the same institution with Jens Thoben. He has occupied the principal clarinet chair of the National Presidential Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine and of the I Culture Orchestra in Poland. With the Chamber Orchestra of Hanover, he gave the world premiere performance of the Concerto Breve by Nicolas Bacri. Oleg is a laureate of the Silverstein Global Clarinet Competition (Grand Prize) and the Kharkiv International Clarinet Competition (First Prize). He has been selected to participate in the 2022 Prague Spring Festival Competition.
