Die britischen Hard-Rock-Ikonen Def Leppard kündigen für den 29. Mai 2020 verschiedene exklusive Live-Editionen an. Das Konzert-Doppelpack “Def Leppard: London To Vegas” vereint die beiden spektakulären Konzertfilme “Hysteria At The O2” und “Hits Vegas, Live At Planet Hollywood”. Der Erste wurde 2018 anlässlich ihrer Jubiläumstour “Hysteria” in ihrer Heimatstadt London im O2-Stadion aufgezeichnet. Er beinhaltet etliche ihrer größten Hits, unter anderem von dem gleichnamigen, zehnfach mit Platin ausgezeichnetem Album “Hysteria”.
Ein halbes Jahr später fand die offizielle Aufnahme von Def Leppard in die “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame” in Las Vegas statt. Direkt im Anschluss an die Feierlichkeiten wurde der zweite Konzert-Mitschnitt im Zappos Theatre im Planet Hollywood aufgenommen. Er vereint ein 28 Songs umfassendes Live-Set, das nicht nur Klassiker der Band beinhaltet. Stattdessen spielen die fünf Musiker auch unbekanntere Songs wie “Too Late For Love”, “Billy’s Got A Gun”, “Slang” oder “Promises”. Vor einer gigantischen Kulisse weiß die Band ihre Bühnenpräsenz nicht nur bei powervollen Liedern, sondern auch bei seltenen Akustik-Versionen zu nutzen.
