Marta Infante
The Spanish Mezzosoprano Marta Infante began her music studies of piano, viola and singing in her hometown Lleida, and later she completed a Higher Diploma in Singing at the University of Ostrava, in the Czech Republic.
She currently sings as a soloist at the main festivals and halls in Spain and she has sung Mozart, Haydn, Debussy, Honegger, Dvorák, Vivaldi, Händel, Rossini, Mahler, etc… with, among others, the Spanish National Orchestra, The Catalan National Orchestra, The Radio and television Spanish Orchestra, Bilbao orkesta sinfonikoa, the Symphony Orchestra of Galicia, the Madrid Symphony Orchestra, The Salvador national Orchestra, the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, and she works with Jordi Casas, Josep Vila, A. Tamayo, M. A. Gómez Martínez, Leon Botstein, Kynnan Johns, Robert Howarth, Aldo Ceccato, Edmon Colomer, Kees Bakels, Victor Pablo Pérez, Carlos Kalmar.
She had sang lieder recitals with the piano player Jorge Robaina in Teatro Calderon (Valladolid), Janackuv maj (czech), Caixaforum, Palacio Euskalduna (Bilbao), Teatro de la Maestranza (Sevilla), Palau de la Música catalana in Barcelona where she recibed a prize at the primer Palau competition, for her Dvorák and Mahler’s interpretation.
Marta Infante works regulary with a number of barroque ensembles, such La Caravaggia, Concierto Español, Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla, La Galanía, La capilla Real de Madrid, Orquesta barroca catalana, Los músicos de su Alteza, Acadèmia 1750, Collegium 1704 (Czech republik), Anthonello (Japan), Dresdne barockorchestra, Collegium marianum (Czech Republik), The Barrocade Israel ensemble, Ars Longa (Cuba) among others.
She permormed at many European auditories and festivals like Bienale de Venecia, The Bijloke (Belgium) Festival Baroque de Sablé, Palau de la música catalana de Barcelona, Festival música antiga de Barcelona, festival de músiques històriques de Torroella de Montgrí, Via stellae, Auditorio national from Madrid, Musika música in Bilbao, Oslo International Church Music Festival, Letni slavnosti stare hudby, Janackuv maji, and Concentus Moravie, Festival International de Musiques Sacrées de Fribourg, and she sings in Egipt, Siria, Jordania, Líbano, in festival de música antigua de La Habana (Cuba), El Salvador, Japan and in the most important cities from South America, Chile, Uruguay and at Mozarteum in Argentina and Brazil. She has performed with Ottavio Dantone, Rinaldo Allesandrini, Enrico Onoffri, F.M.Sardelli, Richard Egarr, Giovanni Antonini, Vaclav Luks, Rinaldo Allesandrini and Paul Goodwin, among others.
Marta has made recordings for the Spanish Radio and Television, Mezzo, Czech Television and for the labels Alpha, Enchiriadis, Glosa, Anima e Corpo, Verso and Her recordings include “Alto Cantatas” by Telemann, “Tonos al Arpa” with the harpist Manuel Vilas, “Cantate Contarini” (Venetian Baroque cantatas for alto and thorough-bass), the operas Amor aumenta el valor and Iphigenia from Jose de Nebra for the label Alpha, and Vivaldi’s Juditha Triumphans.
